Laura and Nick were spending over £1,200 per year just on electricity, they had a fixed rate tariff and were using just over 4,000kWh per year.

They live in a four bedroom semi-detached house with an electric oven, a gas hob, gas central heating, a washing machine and a tumble drier. One of the most energy hungry items in their house is their kettle - which sees a lot of use everyday!

Since they have relatively high usage, we fitted them with a 30kWh system. The battery packs, the inverter and the control box are all installed in their cellar. The installation only took only a couple of hours. We also found them the best tariff to sign up to.

Since their system has been installed, they have more than halved their monthly electricity bill.

The Installation Process

This is Laura and Nick’s cellar before installing the EquiVolt system. First thing? Working with them to identify a suitable space.

Laura and Nick found and cleared an ideal space near the main consumer unit with plenty of ventilation for the inverter…

This is Laura and Nick’s home battery system fully installed. We think it’s an improvement.
